Either its Web Design or Graphic Design or Logo Design from time to time you receive a message or two from “smart” people asking “smart” requests. I will share one with you that stunned me ( not really…but it made me laugh till i cried): someone contacted me and asked for a logo. I said ok what’s it about? He said: something simple “no bling blings” and then asked for how much i will make the logo. I sent him my price ( i said 70$ i know it isn’t too much ) and then he said ” whaaat? i was thinking about 2-5 $.
What do you think? :))
Please share your funny encounters with the “smart and creative people”

loooooooool i don’t even start considering under 600 euros, that’s plain old nasty!
Maybe you should just sent him a link from google images
I once got this brief from a client who wanted a logo animation…
“I think the tone should be: Credible but not over-earnest. Grown up but not boring. Light of touch but not glib or cheesy. Perhaps witty, but definitely not overly comedic. Friendly but not over familiar. Confident but not arrogant. Contemporary but not contrived. Light but not lightweight.”
I’m still waiting for a reply to my email in which I asked for the brief to be supplied in English.
I made a web app some time back, pertaining to my country’s taxes, and some guy wanted a similar site for his country. Three months into our negotiations, we agreed on a decent 4-figure sum for the code, and finalized the license agreement. I gave him all the details for funds transfer, and just when I was expecting a bank deposit, I get an email from him: he wants to back out because the economic climate in his country isn’t good. Well, it wasn’t funny, but it was aggravating
I think fiverr really has caused some skewed expectations frankly

Are you sure he was looking for a logo, and not a date?

Reminds me of something from; http://clientsfromhell.net/
No offense but $70 or $2-$5 for unique logo is equally funny. Not long ago there was a thread where fellow authors was competing for I think was $40 unique logo. Keep it up fellas soon you will make logos for$0.50

Session #1:
Client: You told 64×64 version of icon took just 30 min. Why not 16×16 version doesn’t take less time?
Session #2:
Client: Boy urgent, I need just a small icon in 15 minutes.
Me: Small icon doesn’t mean quick work.
Client: Get lost…

I’ve seen Fiverr proposes that can’t fit the profit, not even if the person is living on the cheapest part of the universe. Astonishing people there, btw. Worths a visit.
