Art-of-Sound saidTry to use native browser of kontakt (menu “Files” at the top left corner, simply find the requaired directory with a *.nki files and drag&drop it to the instrument rack on the left side of kontakt).
I tried to add the Intimate Strings, but I get “no library found”. What is a solution for this in Kontakt 5?
I can load the nki files via Instrument Navigator or by dropping them onto Kontakt. I just can’t add the Intimate Strings permanently to the list of libraries on the left via the button Add Library.

It’s not powered by Kontakt-library so you can’t add those libraries into that tab… Use Quick Load-feature – you can make own folders and drag and drop nki’s there.
Thanks for clearing that, scoringaudiogeeks.

KVR Developer Challenge got some serious names to produce some software and put it for free.
One good library sampled directly from 3 different versions of the Commodore 64 is a collaborative project between Bedroom Producers Blog and Rhythmic Robot.
The library is 30 multi-sampled instrument patches (Kontakt 4 + SFZ + Zampler).
Be sure you’ll vote for your favorite pieces of software and grab the freebie while is still hot:
