Free Music Software : new resource

I recently came across this website that offers free (and apparently legal) music software available to download.

Although I haven’t had the time to download anything from it yet, I thought I would share it, to see what everyone thought of it.

It’s got everything from Audio Editors and DJ software, to DAWs and Plugins (AU, DX, MAS , RTAS, TDM , VST) and loads more too!

Oh, and it caters for both Mac and PC.

Seems like you can oly download stuff that has always been free for free. The rest yu pay for…sorry

The best Free VST effect plugins I know of are the KarmaFX “http://karmafx.net/”.

As for a Free virtual synth I would have to say the Synth1 “http://www.kvraudio.com/get/214.html”.

As for a Free Audio editor I would choose Audacity “http://audacity.sourceforge.net/”.

As for a Free DAW , I would choose Jeskola Buzz “http://www.buzzmachines.com/”

All of the VST plugins are free and very powerful. I’ve blown untold amounts of money on so called “premium” plugins, but I usually end up using endorphin for the final mix. It’s warm, subtle and hits all the right spots in the mix without “thinning down” the sonic footprint. Very cool plugin and hey, it’s free!! lol…

In the Zone Russian websites there is a set of sites on which it is possible to load free of charge plug-ins . BFD , Nexus, Stylus, Predator, trilogy, omnisfera, and also set of plug-ins on processing a sound including known for all waves. If someone known with Russian or whom it interests I can share!!

R-Mafi, Those are probably warez sites. Nexus, Stylus, trilogy, omnisfera are not free plugins.

Yes, these plug-ins not in an easy approach. However, all of us by them it is successfully used and swung from the Internet and it is exchanged. It is not good, however there are more than tools for creation of music!
