Ok so I’ve just noticed Flash has been broken up into two categories in the top left menu:
Flash Components & Flash Templates
Now this could be confusing to some because all the files available here are templates, because they’re designed to be customised easily. So should it go in Components, or Templates?
I also see a few Website templates Files in the Flash Components section, and component type files in the Flash Templates section, so some don’t really put the file in the correct category anyway. (maybe reviewers should check the category when they approve files)
I think “Flash Templates” should be renamed to “Flash Site Templates” but I guess that’s not going to fit into the orange area which is probably why it’s called “Flash Templates”

i think thats why they changed the categories since audio and video are on their own now

oh and shouldn’t Flash, Video, Audio and Themes be cross linked in the main menu of all 4 of the main sites. Since this is the biggest site I’m sure a few might just be looking for Video or Audio here but they not going to find it easily, unless they click on the Evanto Network tab or see the video hive banner.

Their idea is good, will be more useful if there will be more relevant tags like flash animations, flash utilities, flash galleries, flash sites, etc. I noticed in Theme Forest is a tag named Flash Sites which brings to Flash Templates.

Yea I see that, maybe “Flash Templates” should be called “Flash Sites” on this site just to keep things consistent.

yes, I think galleries, utlities, templates etc., but no to preloaders

erm.. what`s confusing? a template is a full site, a component is part of a site.

the categorization hasn’t changed, it is just the menu where the Flash Templates link to templates sub-category whereas the Flash Components link to main flash category which was previously just Flash
But I hope we will get a better categorization system
