Today, we see that Tim’s exclusive account broke the 1000+ sales for the month of October 2012. This is the first for any one account to reach over 1000 sales for the duration of a month. Granted, Soundroll has reach 1,000+ sales over his two accounts for what looks like the 1st time back in March 2012.
It’s interesting to note that the top author account 1 year ago – October 2011 (Tim) – had 538 sales. Looks like growth has almost doubled since then. Let’s enjoy the ride together!

He’s probably the only one (and soundroll) capable to achieve such thing, the rest of us – no matter how talented we are – will never made something like this, unless AJ made some big changes in the way the market works.

Actually, theoretically anyone can rise to the top 20-30 authors in less than one year. Pinkzebra did it very well. You just need a lot of good compositions uploaded frequently, and nothing else. He is currently ranked #6 and gaining ground fast, and he’s been around now for less than 2 years.

Yeah, maybe, I’m already here from around three years and I’m a little frustrated due the low amount of sales each month, it’s true that because my other work I can’t upload many songs per month, but if you look Tim’s profile, he only upload 47 songs.
I think more than just upload lots of good songs you have to upload “hit” songs, the key is to learn what people needs.
