anyone noticed with Firefox when you have a flash site with sound and you close the browser the flash sound continues for a about a half second and then stops. this delay is also noticeable when adjusting the volume on a flash volume control in Firefox – when you run the SWF there is no delay –
I’ve noticed it while closing the browser. I think they’ve made it strangely strange. In a way that it closes the view area, but still runs a split second until it finally catches up to its command and shuts down.
don’t know how to exactly put it. I’m no browser expert.

Yep, noticed that too.
Especially when I close a YouTube window… But I guess I just get used to it, and I was assuming it’s another one of many problems we deal with when we’re using the great-master-piece-advanced-genius OS called WINDOWS .

The delay happens in firefox for Mac too. But oddly enough, it is quite opposite in Safari. In Safari the sound stops first and then the window closes a split second later. But it’s no big deal. At least not that I know of.
