I think it’s a really great idea, but if it were ever to be implemented, I think it would be an optional thing. But I think many buyers would be happy to do it if they know it helps authors.
Nice suggestion….....
Very good idea
+1 I can see this being connected to the payment: depending on the usage, you pay different licensing fees.
Yeah great idea dude! I’d love to know what any of my music was used, especially the two Halloween track extended licenses I’ve sold.
I’m sure SOME buyers would even fill even a quick questionnaire out about their purchase, how they found it, why they like it, what it will be used for etc
Nice idea, man!
But buyers are little bit lazy, sometimes. They don’t rate and guess they will NEVER loose time for this. Anyways, we like it: +1!!
Not to be a nay-sayer or anything but how is it exactly going to help with sales? We still won’t know where exactly the track was used, right? I’d rather have a simple report to tell me what’s my top referrer without having to check track by tracks in analytics.

Definitely, a good idea, Matt
Great idea, but then it should mean that the prices will be different of course, depending on the category that the customer chooses.
