Missed your post.
I am developing a site with WP and am using the free version of this, with some custom code to log some user data and send a confirmation email through Postmark.
I works very well in my tests – pretty straightforward. User is presented with a Facebook request to access his data, he clicks Allow and bam, user registered 
Love it and will most likely go for the paid version as well.
I don’t have any advice for a live environment, as this is still in development, but it works very well. When I launch the site, I’ll be able to tell you how receptive people are at signing up like that. (for example, I’m not very keen on commenting on a blog that uses Facebook comments – see 9GAG).
