Just wondering what other people think of this… Do you not think it would be better for both the music producer and Evanto if the producer could select if each specific track could be exclusive or non exclusive. I have lots of personal music that I will be using elsewhere, but have other tracks that I am happy to be exclusive to Evanto. I am en exclusive member but I would like to upload my other music that I aim to release on labels etc.. What you reckon?
You can easily have 2 different accounts, one exclusive and one non-exclusive

Yea. Good idea. A lot of the personal stuff I do is atmospheric ambient/dark and is suited to films. Does that sell ok on here or can you recommend any other sites better suited to that?
Don’t forget that the music you’re going to release on labels would probably be registered in a royalty rights organisation, and such tracks cannot be offered on AJ – exclusively or not. The point is if I’m buying your track and putting it as a background music for my YouTube advertisement video, I don’t want to be bothered with the lawyers of your music label

Sorry for bumping up the thread… But so, it’s actually possible to have two different accounts here? Good to know… So Envato doesn’t have any issues with that?
I think for me going exclusive for some tracks would be good idea, cause it seems, that sales here are pretty good based on this one week or so I’ve spent here. And great community spirit here, too!
This has been discussed many times several years ago but yet the feature to choose to make a specific track exclusive or non-exclusive is still not implemented.
Though you can have two accounts (as many of us do), and cross promote the profiles, though it’s quite complicated and sometimes causes customers’ confusion. Anyways, still better than nothing
