I’ll be cheering for the Netherlands of course. I’m afraid they’re going to lose the finals to the Germans, though. It’s a bit too early to make a solid prediction, but let’s just say the team has been in better shape.. For now we’ve got to focus on beating Denmark and at least tying against Portugal in the poule phase, though 
I guess Spain and Italy are bound to get far again as well, leaving France, Russia, Sweden and Greece behind them in the quarterfinals. Time will have to tell..

I am betting on Germany or Russia. Russia is an outsider, but they seem to have a strong team. England are too defensive with Hodgson as manager. I will be surprised if they get past the playoffs.
Hoping Holland or Spain will win though. They play entertaining football.

England aren’t going to win – our chances in any major tournament are always always blown out of all proportion by the national press. we inevitably sit back for 89 minutes and let the opposition come onto us and only show any urgency in the last couple of minutes of any game.
That combined with the fact that several players have been dropping out with injuries, I don’t think it’s going to happen this time round.
Netherlands or Spain for the win although I’ll be supporting Poland as my wife is form Warsaw! (Read: I have to support Poland or she’ll make my life a misery!)
