I think it is a great idea, the only downside is that the guy that buy our work and upload it to the pirate servers will also redistribute the purchase code… so anyone can use the same code.

you could always lock it to a domain name / server i.p. address!

If he redistribute the purchase code, then you can link that code to the username that bought the file. I guess.
