so you cleared cache but did you cleared the cookies? An empty cache is not required.

My latest referral was yesterday so the system works (at least yesterday :) )

On chrome it asks to clear all which includes cookies which we did

So all caches and cookies should be taken off which is true as l had to log back into my personal site because cookies had been terminated

That is just stupid, why would they do that?

If that is the case, then Envato are cheating, I would never ask a client to log on and buyer there own theme, this could cause complications if they are novices which 90% are.

As far as I can see, referrals are working fine.

Most likely PEBKAC

I have 6 referrals this month, all worked 100% but on this occasion it has not.

It looks like not everyone of them actually count.

Maybe Envato also tracks IP Address so when signed up with the same IP.

I have the exact same problem: I gave my client the referral link, eh cleared all cookies and private data, then clicked, got the “clickthrough_id” query var, i saw the click in the earnings page, but i never saw him as a registered user, or his purchase. Also i made a test myself, creating an account from a friend of mine from his house. Again deleted everything just to be sure, same experience, same result.
