Great idea and great page
The only thing I don’t like is that all categories are bundled for each site. It’d be interesting to see best selling themes from each category (or at least the general “type” of files, if not all separate categories), not only Wordpress themes; or best selling sfx as well, not only music; or stock footage as well as AE templates… These are quite different “beasts” even though they are sold at the same marketplaces and I believe that they have different type of buyers, so they should be separated somehow… This way they don’t stand a chance at all…
Nice work on that page. Looks good.

Top “selling” items ? Or picked items among top sellers ? But it’s a nice idea to promote quality stuff.
i’m kind of curious too what the criteria for “top selling” items are? is this award by sales number for the year?

Hey Carmen,
I am wondering if it’s possible to increase the number of items shown. I feel like for a “top 5” it is not really necessary to create a site for
I think the number of items is spot on. Because my guess is it’s more of a celebration than a tool for buyers.

Nice idea, but do the same thing for those “Next bestsellers” which have a huge potential to become a top selling items very soon. I just don’t understand why you promote only items with 3k+ sales? They are promoted enough by their authors. And why only 5 items from each marketplace, if we have 1m+ items?

First time seeing AD files selected solely with sales factor rather than AS2 -AS3 preference! Kudos to Pez and AS2hood for proving its flow with marketplaces!

It seems top sellers of 2011 and uploaded in 2011, no other criteria appears.
