Don't care about a thing day!

I just had a day (well weekend,2 days XD ) where I didn’t care about design and sales and the fact that my products/art wont get appreciated as I wanted them to be, and it was awesome! It felt good to just let go of the thought that stress you out, and just get in touch with your inner monkey XD The bad thing is that there were some important things to do but I don’t care,I have 3 more hours from this last day of don’t care about a thing weekend .

Just want to spreed the idea that you need to do this from time to time.

Having times where you shut down from work is definitely one of the essentials in order to “survive”.

I also try to use every other Sunday for that.

Shutting down from work is also essential for new creative ideas t come into your headspace. That’s what i find anyway. At least one ‘off’ day a week.

man i checked your profile its very intriguing , don’t take it personal if there is an item envato don’t like just put aside for a different customer you need to have some unpublished gems aside

It’s very good idea to take a break or sabbatical from your work and duties. That way you’ll last longer, get your batteries recharged to be fresher for the duties you put aside, plus your brain will get in better shape and you might actually came up with new creative ideas

I realized the other day I’ve been working so hard at making music for a living, that I am no longer listening and playing music for fun. I’m taking the the rest of the week off to get back in touch with that.
