Does anyone remember the Author Salute feature on the AJ homepage? I think it was a great way to keep track of the fellow authors accomplishments and pay some respect. It will be awesome to bring that feature back, especially since there are many more quality authors now and the bar is set higher, don’t you think? :)

Great idea. A virtual high five from your peers and a little extra exposure would be awesome.

When an author accomplish something huge and significant like a large number of sales for small amount of time or something like that, there was a special place reserved for him on the AJ homepage below the featured author of the week. It was called “author salute”.

Ah, yes, happy days, I remember those. :) It was all done on our AudioJungle blog by the way and we used to use this awesome little graphic:

We do have Author Interviews on our Envato Notes blog however, make sure you guys get interviewed if you haven’t already! :)
