Flash no longer has a presence on the web – any website that forces you to use ANYTHING other than your standard web browser needs to die, a plugin-less web is a more beautiful one I think

It would be if only it worked, but working with html is and has ever been one big backup, a collection of features that work on some browsers and not on others, and the ones who suffer the most are developers. Programming is one thing, but browser debugging is something else.

that’s such a niave statement if you actually mean it.
The tech just isn’t there yet to do everything without plugins.
In 10 years maybe but I think there will always be plugins pushing what’s capable further and further whilst the browsers play catchup… that’s how it’s always been.
I agree. I think plugins are great because you can customize the browser to your needs and everyone has different needs. If the browser had every feature you could ever imagine, it would be slow and not very user friendly.

“Did Microsoft just kill Flash?” – Microsoft… Always following the latest trends
It’s kind of sad, but the truth is that Web Design and Flash are following different paths
