Demo Themeforest Rules

Hi, guys..

I am just finishing off the design to my next themeforest Wordpress site and was wondering exactly what i can and cant do?

For instance in the Themeforest rules it states that we can use images from any of the Envato websites.

Does this mean i can use images from Creattica, only within my demo, not in the file going out obviously.

Or do i need to ask every authors permission.

I notice nearly every theme sold on here are doing this but is everyone asking first.

Even though Envato own the copyright to the website, to the best of my Knowledge the creative arts are still ownership to the person/company who created the items isn’t it?

You need to ask specifically the authors on Creattica to use their images. You can only use a screenshot of the whole Creattica website or any other Envato website. But not their parts submitted by users.

Personally, when I asked some authors over there, about 50% said yes and the other 50% did not reply back Thought it might help.
