Hi All,

I have decided to delete a few files that don’t fit in with my planned direction. I will be creating a non-exclusive account and would like to add any deleted items from my exclusive to my non-exclusive account, can I do this? I realise I could probably trawl through some jibber jabber rules and legals… but…. I don’t feel like it :-) I know how friendly everyone is here so I thought perhaps some of you might know?

Many thanks,

Rich

You have to contact support and they will forward your request to the site owner. I did it once and it took 2 months to get the okay.

When they got back to me 2 months later they said “you can reupload your files on the other account, if you haven’t done it already”. So I guess it would be ok for you.

I had another account, exclusive, that I made to raise some money for a girl with leukemia. For some reason I wasn’t allowed to advertise it her or ask other authors to join (even that another charity account was allowed).
I raised about 20$ in 3 or 4 months, money I couldn’t take out to donate, so after the girl passed away I wanted to cancel the account and put the tracks to my account, but Envato officials denied my right to use my own work…

Also I kind of expect that a moderator will delete my message.
Happened before also…

Well, I have read it now… That sucks, sorry to hear… that was a very nice thing to do anyway and sorry it didn’t quite work out. Legal crap and red tape can have too many boundaries at times.

:) Thanks for your kind words.

Yep, so because of this, maybe the best idea is to contact support even that this:

...they got back to me 2 months later…
is quite a typical situation.
Better safe than sorry.
