Just seemingly there is an over complication of what exactly is classified as on and off topic.
My interpretation of on and off topic is based on how much the topic is relevant to the marketplaces. This is not, by any means, a judgement on wether I personally find the topic interesting/useful or not. I agree, every post has its value.
Marketplace relevancy simply implies any topic directly related to the marketplaces in general, such as sales, features, suggestions, achievements, troubleshooting, trends, and so on.
So if someone posts about a terrible earthquake that just happened, or a new Operating System that just launched, although it is/can be interesting and useful to many of us, it is still considered off topic, as it has no direct relevance to the marketplaces.
Hope that helps to clarify the criteria a bit.
Hmm. I understand.
But then on topic, needs to be more liberally moderated then. Because users cannot discuss items, authors, item issues etc.
Seemingly on topic is really just for authors to brag about how many sales they have made et al.
Thus would make more sense to have item topics and general topics. Reducing the confusion to a mere two categories.
I’m sorry to cut in but I was trying to bring up the picture you posted to show people (I was really impress, iv never seen anything like that before)
Would it be possible to share where it came from or how I could find it again? I just please I got the chance to catch it while it was live
This thread is clearly not dead, lots of replies already No idea what it’s about though, since the original post has been reported
Where are the cool pics? Why did they flag the OP?
