Hi all I saw a sign near some authors avatars “Competitions winner”. What competitions? Is now some competition open?

Every once in a while there are competitions here in the marketplace. If you participated and won, you’ll get that badge under your avatar, like mine right there

Yes, i’ve had a 3rd place in “Dance competition” a few years ago, and my prize was a “featured” file on a main page..:)Waiting for a new competition..:)

Hi Boris, every now and then there are competitions with prizes. Some big, some small.

The winner(s) get the badge, and the prize. The last major competition was for the new TRAX category – http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/trax-contest-win-1000-or-an-ipad-2/46346

But there are sometimes smaller friendly competitions like the one we had here – http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/one-note-loop-competition/42339

Something will come eventually… maybe it’s time we had a small composition competiton again

No promises as to exactly when.. but stay tuned.

I won the FlashDen audio competition, summer 2007, before I became a reviewer, for most approved audio uploads value (back then ). The prize was a Mac-mini.

Now that I think about it, I don’t remember any competition for sound effects… All previous were for the music. Will that change in future?

A sound design competition would be awesome! Maybe we can have someone from Videohive donate a really cool animation and everyone competes to design the coolest sound?
