The Membership Terms of Usage don’t necessarily prohibit a second account. However, if the second account is used to “game” the system, like buying and rating your own files, it would be against the membership terms.
That is exactly i posted in my 1st reply, Thanks for the confirmation

It will be pretty obvious when the same few accounts are the only ones buying your items. Besides, you also have to fund the accounts, and they can see the same credit card or Paypal account funding all of the accounts.
What if:
1) I am freelancer AND
2) I sell exclusive item AND
3) I want to use item in my project
As I understand in this case I must buy my own item.
i think they changed this. you don’t have to buy your own item to use it. read it recently, someone please confirm.

Good question! I hope it’s not necessarily to buy your own items anymore.

Even if it was necessary, who would be so stupid to actually do so? It are your files and there’s no way to forbid someone to use their own stuff.
- Exclusive Author
- Item was Featured
- Author was Featured
- Author had a File in an Envato Bundle
- Has been a member for 4-5 years
- Sold between 100 000 and 250 000 dollars
- Repeatedly Helped protect Envato Marketplaces against copyright violations
- India
There are good reasons for having 2 accounts. To have both exclusive and and non-exclusive items that’s the only way here.
Also there is an another case where it may need. If an author want to opt-in Extended License for one marketplace and opt-out on other (Envato) marketplaces, the staff’s suggestion as of now is to have 2 different accounts.
So there is a possibility of 4 recommended accounts in case you need this way:
1. Exclusive + Extended
2. Exclusive + without Extended
3. Non Exclusive + Extended
4. Non Exclusive + without Extended
hehe, anyone interested?
I have asked this question few weeks ago. Support said it’s ok. In my case I have this account and a collaboration account with another author…
Can I connect both accounts on the same payoneer card?
