Well, Your file has some well done design concepts, however it does not meet the current and very stringent quality guidelines and we can not accept your file at this time.

No additional info, what is wrong exactly, so I would like to know, how to improve it?

Both logos has the same concept with pencil “icon” – first should be colorful and the second minimal with backround.

Thank You

Well ! Sometime i don’t know why reviewer reject my item. and always ask myself “Why this item was approved for sale, it not better than mine” when i browsing Logo category

Buyers might think it NICE and will buy it but reviewer didn’t . why dont we let the buyers decide.? hmm

Just my opnion

BTW you have a nice job and keep it up.

I think it’s really nice mate,

but I think the problem may lie with the black versions.

Unless there is colour, you don’t know that it is a pencil, right?

As a logo, you should be able to tell what it is no matter the colour.

As I said though, I do think it’s really nice, hopefully you can fix it up :)

You are right, in that one color version it is not clear, that it is pencil, but I don’t think that is the problem as reviewer said – it doesn’t meet our stringent quality guidelines. So I understand it that the design is poor and I also hope that if the problem was with one of the color versions, then reviewer will write it in the rejection e-mail?

First Logo I am guessing you can try expanding it to a semi or full circle. A quarter doesn’t work very well in terms of balance.

Second Logo The color need reworks. Currently, there isn’t a harmony for the color version. The font here seems lacking. Try to decide on either all uppercase or lower case for the wordings. Reduce the line spacing in between.

Anyway, I feel that those 2 are nice logos. Good luck.

Thank You for your reply, I’ll try to make the first one as half circle, we will see, how it works.

The second design I’ll abandon since I don’t think it will be accepted after color or font changes :(

The biggest issue lies within the typography of the logos. The font is just horrible for that style logo, also the kerning needs a lot of help to be honest with you.

Secondly, it doesn’t look like a pencil, it looks more like a target cut into a quarter.

Personally, I think you need to rethink the design here completely. The execution needs much improvement before it gets accepted.

I agree With the others that only the colour versions really reveal what this is meant to express. and I also thought about the target before I saw the pencil. I do however really like the colour versions, I think it’s a really smart idea.

I’m not too keen on the font, I think it’s too thin and to sporead out. It has no punch and personality. I can see you tried to keep it very clean, but I think it lost something … or never had it and needs something more.

Really nice idea though, I would definitely stick with it and tweak until it gets accepted.

In general I think it’s really silly to reject files with only a standard response. Because then we write back to support to please elaborate on the details and they do actually get back to us. So why not just give the details in the first place, doesn’t have to be much, and we can immediately start improving the item to the reviewers taste instead of guessing what the reviewer may have not liked … That’s just stabbing in the dark and its A waste of time for everyone, the authors as well as the reviewers.

Just my .02 :)

Chris
