Hi everyone!
I have been a part of this great community for 2.5 months and the sales are going great, but I was wondering if some of the Authors that have been here for a longer time will share their experience about what are the best and the worst months of the year for sales?
Thanks
Hi
So far worst was July 2012 with 4 sales.
Here has been my experience for slower sales periods (in no particular order):
- Wed-Sun of Thanksgiving weekend in the US (end of November)
- The 10 days from around Dec 23 to Jan 3
- The 2 weeks around typical US spring break (end of March or early April)
- The month of July
Quite simply, if you have increased sales it means someone that they dropped sales.
And conversely…

This month has been one of the whorst so far. But things can change as we still have like 25days
September was one of my greater months. On my other account the month November was far above average.
Generally slow from Thanksgiving US holiday to end of December. Unless you have hot selling tracks or good Christmas music. Big pickup usually happens at the beginning of the year. At least in my experience.
Great information, a big thanks to all of You guys
I was just wondering about this. The last three or four months I’ve increased sales each month but so far December has been really dead. I have only been selling for less than a year so I don’t really have a full perspective on my sales yet
