Hello everybody,

I just thought I should start a new thread since the last one i’ve found was posted 2 years ago.

Since I’m new here I need some help to promote my items. So, what’s the best way to promote your Graphic River items?

Twitter, Facebook, Deviant Art and Dribble are good places to start. Be involved with different online communities and forums. Having a website with a “Freebie” section can help draw traffic to your products. I’m pretty new to graphicriver and haven’t mastered it either!

I am also very new, a few tips I can offer that I noticed help are:

1. Make sure the tags for your items are amazing, on my newest items I added some additional tags and it has sold much quicker!

2. Deviantart is a good community to join and helped me get added sales+ a referral! Be sure to join loads of groups and submit art all the time! Trust me it helps ;)

3. Twitter and Facebook are pretty good ways to remind users of your product!

4. Preview images. Make sure that the preview image displays all the options, features, and uses for the product. The more customization the customer sees, the more they will want to buy it!

5. Finally, try some other sites. Dribble has gotten me loads of views and maybe even some purchases, this can really help! If you don’t have dribble try forrst, or other graphic sharing sites.

Hope these tips helped a little ;)

Good luck!

Yes, tags are very important; much more important than any external promotion.

An important factor many often neglect. Well-spoken graphicmind and MikeMoloney. Sound and constructive tags are far better than any online promo. Luckily, Graphicriver and other Envato sister sites are doing well in google and with the help of sound tags, your item will be found easily.

It took me 6 months to realise the power of good tags. Try google with your tags, use Envato analytics and experiment alot.

Here is what I do:

1.I like all my own files/my freinds get to see them, and even some of them like it…and it just keeps getting liked/etc…. 2. I google plus my files…well like it on it also…same as facebook 3. Tweet/Share 4. Part of a couple of online communities(forum) make sure to post in the marketplace section/ or sometimes the graphic. 5. DeviantArt – perhaps one of the best…I just shared a couple itmes…and straigtht away after sharing I got some sales (maybe I am just lucky) 6. Make a preview video and post on youtube…this one could work well also

Hope you enjoyed some of my tips and actually do it on your own items. :)

Have fun promoting/getting sales.
