Hi, my first posts here:)
Can I know whats the best audio editing software?
How about any with the lightest or least computer resources?
Thanks very much in advance.
For Mac the best solution is Logic. For Windows maybe Cubase.
Thanks Despoth. How about Adobe audible for windows?
What do you mean by audio editing? Processing the audio signal or the whole thing, composing, orchestrating, sound processing?
Hi bodorobodo, yes the whole thing. What the DJ’s are using to produce remix tracks.
That should be Traktor from Native. Also, in any DAW (Logic, Cubase, etc), many use Maschine.
In my younger years I used Fruity Loops and Cool Edit Pro (Now named to Adobe audition).
I like Adobe’s Creative Suite products, and I use Photoshop and Illustrator. But their other products made not so good, I guess. So that’s the reason why I use Logic instead Audition, FinalCut instead Premiere and Aperture instead Lightroom. Apple rules!

I use adobe audition but you can also try Sony sound forge and Mixcraft
Wow, now only I know Sony bought soundforge and adobe bought cool edit pro. I used to use both of these 2 10 years back.
So whats the best one for mixing music? For making new tracks like the DJs.
Thanks guys.
