Backpacking - Bangkok from next Monday

Next Monday (the 28th) I’m setting off on what is to hopefully be a Worldwide backpacking trip.

I don’t have an itinerary as to what countries I’ll be visiting or in what order, however I think it’d be super cool to meet up with as many of you guys as possible, wherever possible on the route

Also, seen as we’re a global community, I’d like to ask if any of you who’ve previously been backpacking could share your experiences of World travel and offer any advice?

I’ll be starting out by spending some time in Thailand and it’s neighbouring countries. I have a 6 month Visa for Thailand so I’ll probably get an apartment somewhere (likely Chiang Mai) to use as a base to travel to Laos / Cambodia / Vietnam etc

I’m flying out to Bangkok on Monday and will be staying there for a few weeks before heading south to Phuket, so if you’re in or around the area, let’s meet for a coffee?

Wow dude. That’s a lot of stops! What an amazing trip. Make sure to record everything and keep us updated on it all.

Ah good to here you out and about on adventures, I was in Thailand late august with my GF Dad as he lives out there so if there any pointers your after I can help you out, there are some amazing markets and some great restaurants, al depends on your budget as some are expensive but some of the best meals i have had in my life.

I’ll be right here in Austria, if you fancy snow and mountains – you could knock on Kriesi’s door as well while you’re here I guess
