My item took 7 days before it was released and immediately I uploaded it, I believe that someone from Envato talked to another author and the guy uploaded new files that contain some of the elements in my bundle – exactly my concept and it was approved earlier while Envato staff withheld my item for very very long time without any explanation and never replied my ticket.

It wasn’t any coincidence that my concept and approach was dispatched to another author because of the high potential in my bundle and yesterday I received an mail saying “An interesting concept but you need to remove the GraphicRiver logo from this file’s preview image.”.

Can someone tell me how can someone else release a similar item that is exactly my concept and sales strategy while mine was held so that the person will be the first and I the last? How come my bundle stayed for 7 whole days and now you are telling me to “remove the GraphicRiver logo from this file’s preview image.” What really happened for the last 7 days and how come my concept was leaked to someone else?

I got an email from the reviewer after my bundle was approved saying “This file’s pricing is being reviewed. Thank you for your patience.”

Can someone tell me is that very honest? I love this community but if politics or corruption ever enter this community, the reputation will fall. I hope that another author won’t experience what that happened to my item for the last 7 days.

I’m very serious about my items and how they are managed.

Godbless!

Hi mrcharlesbrown,

rest assured there is no politics involved. We will all at some point have files held by the review team, I am right now! ;)

It is against the rules for reviewers to ‘jump the queue’ and review a file that has other files in front of it in the queue.

If your file has been passed on to another reviewer, you’ll have to wait for them to get around to it – your file is just as important as any other.

I don’t believe for one second a reviewer has leaked your ‘concept’. You have a file that has sold like hot cakes for the past few months – people are going to follow your lead and upload imitations, you cannot blame a reviewer for this.

If you do really think you’ve been victimised here, I would suggest you contact Support .
