I’m looking for authors/freelancers who are available to do custom work to my files. I’m getting large volumes of requests for custom work daily and I A ) Don’t have time to work on them and B ) Paypal is not supported in my country so international payments for custom work is almost impossible.
I’d rather be referring customers who need custom work to my files to freelancers who I know rather than random freelancers the customers might get hold of. And the less freelancers working on my files the better since they will be getting a copy of my source files for free. Most of my support requests are custom mods but I can’t always help them so this way they’ll get better service being refereed to the right freelancer.
So I’m looking for several freelancers who are interested… I’ll forward you any custom requests that I receive and you can take it from there..
post here if you interested and I’ll get in touch.
I am interested in freelance work and can show what I did with your files that my clients bought on FD. email me through my FD profile.
ok let me be more specific here… I’m looking for some who is preferably an author here who has done similar stuff, like image gallerys, FLV players, templates all AS2 and XML driven because most of my requests will be mods like that – so I need to check out your portfolio first then I’ll add you to my approved freelancer list so to speak.
Hit me up man, im interested, i was actually gonna get in touch with you about this exact thing about a week ago but felt cheeky so didnt lol.
DS .. I’m not always free to take on more work but I do freelancing and much of what I do has been customizing Flashden files – I customized your old Blackbox Template for a client back when I started (and I promise haven’t used that file since ). The client wanted an image rotator on the home page. Sounded like a trivial request and I foolishly quoted accordingly before ever seeing the file. It actually turned out to be one of the toughest customizations I ever did. It was my first encounter with deep linking (I hadn’t even heard of it when I started that project) and in addition to deep linking you had hard-coded the news section as the home page, not linked into the XML controlled menu structure ... I think that was one of the first times I realized it was possible to earn less per hour for programming than I could for sweeping the floor at McDonalds!
I frequently get clients referred by MBMedia, though most of them don’t follow up after I quote ( I’ve started quoting a lot more realistically since the day of the BlackBox ). I”ve also done some serious customization (and debugging) on Michael Hejja’s XML Editor. ( Probably spend more time customizing that than Michael spent building it .. for a minuscule fraction of what it’s earned for him – Hmmm, maybe I should give up freelancing and start publishing files of my own. .. I would if I had some design skills (or a good design partner..) ..
Anyway if you decide you can trust me with your files feel free to refer any of your clients who need more support than you can offer. I don’t promise I’ll be able to fit them in, or that they will find me “affordable” if they are locked into the stock-price mindset, but if I can, and they do, I guarantee satisfaction or money back.
I’m interested, too. Can learn some experience from digitalscience.
