Related: is there a built-in or homebrew way to automatically layer the watermark on files? I’ve been looking at batch options as I imagine it’d become very tedious to manually overlay the watermark on even a dozen items before uploading.

Any recommended best practices for making preview files w/the watermark? (I’m also checking with Envato support and saw Joel’s http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/the-new-envato-watermark/6996?page=1#57574 from a month ago)

An easy way is to make a 60 sec file with just the watermark , heard every 5 to 10 seconds or so.. Then layer that over your imported track in any sequencer ( adobe audition here) .. you can then trim or duplicate the watermark file as needed for longer or shorter tracks.

Or.. if you use pattern based software like FL, , just load the watermark alone in a separate pattern have it play once, then in the playlist you can make a watermark layer and run as many patterns as you need along the length of your track.

Then you just publish twice.. once with the watermark channel muted , and once with the watermark unmuted… That way the mark is heard once per pattern on the preview output file (Thanks to iDraw for that technique )
