Are there any bonuses for the sale of authors or tracks?

I suppose if you sell an author, you’d make significantly more than if you sold a track. The problem with slavery, though, is that it’s pretty much illegal worldwide, so you’re going to have a hard time finding buyers. Plus, AJ authors don’t function well in forced servitude. Creativity requires freedom. maybe I misunderstood your question though.

You wrote “sale of authors” in the thread title, which StoneHarvest had a bit of fun with. What did you mean by “sale of authors”? You can’t sell authors since they are persons, but I presume you ment something else.

Yes, when you accomplish the sale of an author, you get a nice shiny-white “Ku Klux Klan” badge. Also “South gonna rise again” Association provides you 10% of that author’s output!

I don’t get what you mean but your comission rate increase with sales and it’s kind of a bonus. Here is some info if you don’t know about it already:

Other than that, there are frequent competitions (once in two years :P) that you can win some marketplace credit, or you can be a community superstar to win some credits i guess.

If this isn’t enough, you can refer buyers to envato marketplaces and collect a referral cut once they make a deposit.

For what I know, badges (colorful paws), comission rate increase (already linked and explained by soundengine), featured author (having your files a week or something on front page) and probably included in more or less “official” collections.
