I originally used that post back in the day and now it’s currently what I’m using in my themes… but now that I think about it, there was one little thing I had to do to get it to work, but I can’t remember…

Email me through my profile page, and I can just tell you how to do it. Essentially, you just include the pagination file with your theme (in functions.php or whatever) and then call the function just outside your loop wherever you rolling through you blog posts.

I just took the main PHP file from that wp pagenavi plugin from that blog post and removed the elements having to do with creating options in the admin panel and also changed the name of the function so if the user already has pagenavi plugin installed and activated, the theme won’t break.

Any chance you could share this? My future theme also has this feature, and I’d like the theme not to depend on so many plugins.

Thanks.

Email me and I’ll forward you the same email I sent kayapati with a couple of example files.
