^ Funny and sad at the same time, all these competence promotions after the goDaddy down.
Market should be called Sharket.
I wish they attack my hosting company too , my servers are down again anyway

You were my brother Anakin !!!

They don’t do that too often, they only do it when GoDaddy has problems. Namedotcom hates GoDaddy as much as we all do.

Pretty sure I saw Tweets from MT making fun of them… I couldn’t work out what it meant when i saw them

I get why GoDaddy is a target for supporting SOPA /PIPA, but I don’t really get the logic of attacking innocent people who just happen to do business with them and probably have no idea what SOPA /PIPA is. Seems just shutting down GoDaddy.com itself would have been enough to make a point.

Luckily their domains sere still working. They are one of the only companies you can register .TC domains with (although recently they have become unavailable for new purchases) so I do not have a choice. I have the nameservers and DNS all registered with (mt) maybe that’s what saved me?
GoDaddy outage was caused by router snafu, not DDoS attack or anonymous – Web host debunks rumors that a debilitating DDoS attack took it down.

You miss the impact – it wouldnt make much sense to attack a single website of a company just to set a statement – but having more than 100000 people involved would be a much greater impact. It doesn’t matter for anonymous if the folks see them as good or bad guys – as long as they can achive the goal to show everybody “look whats going on there…don’t wanna see? kazaaam” know what I try to explain?
I think that guy was paid by the competition to take down GoDaddy :))
