Hey guys,
As we kick off a new year, let’s give some thought to what types of projects are most likely to sell the best this year.
My list of what I’d think would sell best includes:
a) Tablet-type videos, ones with ipad/kindle fire with hand moving across them
b) Whiteboard animation videos
c) Broadcast-type ones (like the news/balistique glossy pro ones)
d) Ones with real people in them (not just flipping video boxes)
Any other ideas/requests/predictions? What types of projects do You think will sell best this year? I post this because I want to get ideas, like a survey, to help authors figure out what to work on.

d option would be my wishful choice! But given that Videohive is a Worldwide site, covering all races, sex, ethnic differences and social characteristics of people would be a really Big challenge! Imagine templates that through expression controls and checkboxes would allow a choice of Japanese man or a Brazilian woman in the main role! That’s a revolution in After Effects templates unfortunately not coming soon!

I agree, I think authors will do very with types of projects that are rare or even absent on VideoHive. At this point, the idea is the thing that will sell your project because most approved projects are the highest of quality as far as templates go.
