Has anyone tinkered with Adobe’s opensource editor Brackets yet? It’s still early days, but I was wondering if I should give it a go or if anyone has tried it.

Brackets is an open source code editor for HTML , CSS and JavaScript built with HTML , CSS and JavaScript Brackets and other Adobe opensource stuff

I think Adobe is just sponsoring the project. It was built by Flash legend Grant Skinner. I used EaselJS once and it’s pretty awesome.

I really like HTML5 Canvas, I may be using it later.

The beauty of EaselJS is that it’s based on the Flash Graphics API which makes it an absolute joy to work with if you’ve ever worked with Flash before.

EaseJS is a great tools, any old flasher can pick it up in a week or so since its very AS3 syntax in away .

But I’ll give you a little worming, first you need some (some is a subjective say for each coder ) coding skills, also since its base on Flash Graphics API ,as a flasher i can say this method where use by more advance coder`s since you basically code on the fly ,history show the majority of user don’t like to change stuff they can’t see on the visual ,also right now we are struggling allot with the use of the Canvas ,not many want to adapt it mostly due to browser capability issue and code complicity , and we have the Canvas for almost 2 years now ,in my opinion only if jQuery will adapt in some way the Canvas then we are going to see a boost on this sector, other then that people will keep using the simple and more simplistic way .

Give it 2-3 more years maybe we will see some adapting
