The custom search bar then shows the results in a popup, centered on the page:

Super easy to add. Just login to Google and then visit:
http://www.google.com/cse/Then click “new search engine”, give it a name and then use this format for the url:
http://yourmarketplace.net/item/name-of-item/discussion/*

Sweet idea. Could do the same for FAQ items as well. Can both discussions and faq be included in the same google custom search?

Awesome idea
Once you create one it will show under “my search engines”. Click on “control panel” and then “sites” and it looks like you can add additional urls to combine them.
