Hi, any photographer here? I’ve a question about model release. For example, I’ve taken a picture this afternoon, you can see below:
Does this picture need a model release if I want to use it in flashden? Or only the pictures contains clearly face need a model release? Thanks.

I’m pretty sure you don’t need the “model release” for this one,
If you look at Google-map in the “street-mode” you’ll find lots of people with there face blurred.. :)
I’m sure none of them have been asked for “model release”.

Although the face is mostly covered what it comes down to is whether or not the person in the photo feels they would be easily recognised as stated here in Flashdens Model release FAQ

Strictly: 1) If it is for commercial use then yes you do need a model release. 2) If you were using it for editorial you don’t need one.
