IE6 support on TF is not required (it’s a recent change) but highly recommended (if I remember well)
a script to fix all IE issues
i saw once in a hardware shop. it look like a hammer. sellings was cancelled because of clients complains. the IE issues proved to be more tough then the hammer.
The most effective script by far would be from the command line:
taskkill /F /IM Iexplorer.exe
Anything else sadly ends up killing the user.

You just need to use this script because IE7 is not compatible with some pseudo-selectors like :first-child :after etc. You can read more here – http://www.evotech.net/blog/2007/05/ie7-css-selectors-how-they-fail/
<!--[if lt IE 9]> <script src="http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/version/2.1(beta2)/IE9.js"></script> <![endif]-->
This works from MSIE5 .5 to MSIE7 , I only euse this to tackle IE7 though.

It can be possible, or convert into a PNG -8 but I usually prefer the DDbelated script, there are a lot of possibilities for PNG transparency

hehe in France the CERTA which is a “consulting organization for network / security” (don’t know how to translate that) recommended in january 2010 to stop using IE (all versions) for security reasons…
