This is proving to be trickier than it sounds and I’m hoping someone will know of just the right thing. Here’s the idea.
There are 27 students. At an anti-drunk driving assembly, as each student’s name is read, they will walk across the gymnasium floor with a lighted candle to their seat as a slide show with a baby picture and a current picture shows on the big screen behind them. The idea is that they are dead, killed by an imaginary drunk driver. It will be very somber.
Each student needs about ten seconds to make the walk, for a total of about 5 minutes.
I need music that is subtle, not distracting or overly cinematic, and doesn’t build to a crescendo, as each student should have roughly the same amount of “musical accompaniment.” I ran across a few good candidates, but they’re extremely repetitive – the same three/four notes or chords over and over. Some of the others are nice but have a hopeful feel, which doesn’t work for this.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi! Maybe something like this:
Hey JohnFil – thanks!
That is an awesome track – super fun! I flagged it for a future project. What I need for this has to be really dark and serious, though. Like something you would play at a funeral. One of my candidates was this but it even this seemed a little too cheery: http://audiojungle.net/item/piano-for-meditation/6954683
I have a subtle “sad piano” style item here: http://audiojungle.net/item/story/6499921?WT.ac=portfolio_item&WT.seg_1=portfolio_item&WT.z_author=augustomeijer
It might work for you. Thanks
Oooo…I like that one very much! Thanks for recommending it.
May be this one can be useful:
(track may be extended to 5 min, if necessary)
Or something like these:
