This is cool, just had a buyer asking about unlimited licensing.
But I think the 10 license option is a little on the low side at just x3, that’s a 70% discount…it should be more like x6.
It would have been nice if Envato had asked our thoughts on this first…

I thought the same thing too. The x3 is ridiculously low and sellers have had no warning. But then again how many sellers have had numerous purchases from buyers for an item? x3 is still better than x1, will be interesting to see how many buyers use it

@contempo I totally agree with our points and I am quite astonished no other authors are concerned over the fact that your copyright files have just had their license terms altered without your permission – seems quite ridiculous to me.
Also with the fact that this was a blog entry and therefore not viewed as much as the forums by authors the conversation going on there will not be noticed as much.
Seems like this should of been an AUTHOR option, not an Envato one…..

LOL yeah i noticed that one too, its a nice idea but abit of a dream i cant see anyone ever paying 50x the amount for a file.
Ppl are attracted to the den for the prices, the temptation to just buy once and use as they please will ultimately outweigh paying $500 for a $10 file

no no no no no, they can not! its so they can use it unlimited times in projects but the rights are still retained by us, the file is our copyrighted material and they cannot redistibute either freely or commercially
