? Do You Think The Affiliate Program Is Low At (30%) ?

It used to be 50%. Authors used to also make only 25%. They’ve changed these numbers MANY times throughout the years, and there’s a reason why they said they are here to stay. They found a system that they are happy with, and if you check the rulebook, they aren’t gonna be changing it.

Maybe they should introduce something like, Refer 50 people get $20 dollar bonus credit or something like that, It would be nice and wouldn’t take much programming for that

Just be more creative when it comes to referring. They can’t make it ALL easy for you

While people are on the subject of referrals i have a few questions about them if anyone knows the answers.

1) Can you do on site referrals?

2) Does following a / character with ?ref break a link like:

http://www.themeforest.net/?ref=Texturizer777

or does the / being before it make no difference?

3) I read in another thread to use nofollow on a blog etc like:

http://3docean.net/item/decayed-concrete-textures/75903?ref=Texturizer777&rel=nofollow

But if i instead wanted to put a nofollow part before the ref would i be correct in thinking you then use ?rel and &ref like this?

4) Can i promote any item that i like from the envato marketplaces and use the preview images from the product pages etc to help with promotion? I guess what i mean is would linking to images hosted on envato be fine or is it required that they are self hosted if you do that?

You always have & after a single ? right? or does it not matter? – like with any multiple URL parameters, first one begins with ?, then all the others begin with &

So far I’ve referred about 6’000 thousands people. Of these, 12 registered, and 3 bought something. Total earned: 14$.

I don’t know who raised “5% commission for every purchase” idea but I liked it very much, Templatemonster giving flat 20% commission for every sales!!! But the fact is themeforest no longer need affiliates, they have a strong brand name in the web market. I don’t think we can compete with their promotional and giving our referrals.

I’d rather have higher commission than referrals. I’d also like 150% commission. And a cupcake for every sale.
