Hey, I am Karan. An author from Mumbai since last 3 years. Been working in advertising and creative agencies for ages.
That is not WP unfortunately. There are hundreds of 1 page themes on here that work in that style but none will be that simple as it is not good enough for here. Your best bet is to find one you like on here then strip it out as minimally as you want/need. Just search ‘one page’ then filter to WP themes
Thanks for your response. That one is probably the best single page theme I’ve seen. I believe you’re right. I am going to have to find a similar theme and modify it by taking it apart.
Mine is a W and an A connected together. Its a frequency wave. Not much of a concept for now unless I crack something good for the name .
Not sure if you can find it here on TF but look on Codecanyon. There are plenty of scripts (js, jquery or php) that can be imbedded in any template. http://codecanyon.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=store+locator http://themeforest.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=store+locator
Looks like I was looking in the wrong place. Thanks a ton !!
Hi Guys, If you could help me find a small template for a store locator I need for one of my client. I just need a single page template where there can be a list of City and Area and Details. After selecting the area some details should pop up about where the store is exactly located. Have you seen anything like this on TF? I hope someone know some sort of template. I don’t know what it’s called so I am not able to find one.
wallfish saidWhat was their explanations.?
Three of my logo designs got rejected without a proper explanations.
It just said this:
“Unfortunately your submission doesn’t meet our current minimum quality requirements for the category it was submitted to. Please consider taking some time to familiarize yourself with our current library and quality levels of popular items before resubmitting.”
It’s not like I design these without using my head. But these unexplained rejects make me feel like I’m not putting any efforts.
Recently I’ve been working on couple of logo designs. Three of my logo designs got rejected without a proper explanations. I’ve seen much less detailed & concept driven logo getting accepted. Either its me getting a weird reviewer or the same reviewer who hates me!
Here is one design which got rejected lately. You think I should ask for support? Is this worth it or its the end of my logo designs!
I kind of like this logo. The symbol’s shape reminds me of a “modern” take on stylizing the head of a wrench. I could see people into construction, repair, and other general maintenance services want to purchase this.
A suggestion. Why not take out the “O” in “Octobold” and use your symbol as the “O.” I wonder what it would look like as a completely horizontally focused logo.
Put your thinking cap on. There’s a lot you can do with this concept.- Nun Kwon
Thanks for the reply. To be honest hard reject was completely unexpected. But anyway reviewer probably has more understanding of logo design than I do. I just ask is an explanation why is it not up to his expectations. Thanks for the “O” suggestion.
I like the concept, clean and simple but typography doesn`t work well, especially “group” word. cheers
Thanks, you mean it has a small chance to be accepted if I work more on type? Sure, I’ll make revisions in the type and try adding colors and stuff. The hard part is reviewer used the standard reject message. And nothing specific.
Thanks for the response again.
