@vogelstein I did not suggest that the marketplace be converted entirely. I suggest that Verfied European Authors should be able to sell in their own Currency.

Basically this is nothing else but a price increase for European Authors so they can get the same value but in Euros.

and then this should be made for UK authors as well, they deserve the 5 Pound instead of $ 5 also

Impossible, I think.

That would mean different prices for the same items depending on the country of the author.

So all European authors would be handicapped with their higher prices compared to authors who are selling in $

Hi David,

I think this is pointless. (and i am from Europe as well)

why EURO ? why not British Pounds or Kuwait Dinar? If you convert your earnings into these currencies your numbers would look even worse.

If you were in the UK then you would feel the same about this even if Envato would use EURO .

what do you think?

The only reason I can imagine to change the currency to EURO would be that if European buyers would dominate the marketplace.

Is there a tutorial wich can show you the process in building a psd template ?

You can find some webdesign tutorials here

http://psd.tutsplus.com/category/tutorials/interface-tutorials/

I mean wich shows you everything from start to the end so it won’t get rejected from themeforest?

I’m afraid that there is no such tutorial

but there are a lot of helpful articles that teach you the basics of webdesign which I highly recommend for you:

Oh… it does not work on Snow Leopard (requires 10.7 or later), too bad it because it looks like an application I would love to use in the future.
But it works in 10.8 which is good since that is the future, version 2 is working fine under 10.6 I suggest that you use v2 until you upgrade.
Where can I find the older version?

mail sent

Interesting stuff.
And what about calligraphy, have you ever tried to write a whole letter? My style is horrible, and i tented to have a nice calligraphy when i was younger and computers were not all around me (yeah, i’m so old! :P ) The other day i was thinking about my child not needing at all to know hand writing in the near future. Curious and somehow, sad.

That’s right, the skills needed for life are changing rapidly, it’s sad but if something is not relevant anymore then it could be a waste of time to learn it.

So I quickly ordered this:

That is awesome thanks a lot!

Love the new icon in the status bar :)

one small suggestion if I may, I miss the sales count from the menu a bit, it would be great to have either the totals sales just like in v2 or the monthly sales count displayed in the menu. (optional both from the preferences if somebody wants it)

great job!

I just found this on the guardian website and I thought I share it with you, I think the guy is trying to tell about the importance of content compared to design but he does it wrong by blaming the designers.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2012/feb/19/john-naughton-webpage-obesity

Part of the article:

“Well, the process was indeed like that once – a very long time ago. In the beginning, webpages were simple pages of text marked up with some tags that would enable a browser to display them correctly. But that meant that the browser, not the designer, controlled how a page would look to the user, and there’s nothing that infuriates designers more than having someone (or something) determine the appearance of their work. So they embarked on a long, vigorous and ultimately successful campaign to exert the same kind of detailed control over the appearance of webpages as they did on their print counterparts – right down to the last pixel.”
