I think this thread is starting to bring out everyone’s secret soft spot for amusing animated gifs.
It’s really hard to tell who’s a pro round here – everyone has a professional approach to their pages around here. musicformedia, I’m loving your featured item at the moment – really atmospheric.
I agree. the cat certainly shouldn’t go!
I was posting in the forums and found a new icon under my name – turns out I was featured! This has surprised me loads – I thought only the big time guys like “Music for media”, Dreamweaver and Blazznet got featured. It’s a real encouragement to me. Thanks AJ!
Does anyone know if we are we allowed to use animated avatars or not? The upload page states they must be JPEG 80×80px but i’ve seen a load of people with animated GIFs to grab extra attention from customers. Am I allowed to do the same?
Thanks guys. I certainly didn’t know that much about mp3s. My files weren’t looping in quicktime, so it must be a file issue. Thanks.
Relatively new to AJ, and I’ve created loops which seem to loop perfectly in audacity when I export, but on AJ there’s a gap between the end of the track and the repeat in the flash player.
Has anyone got a knack of getting round this? Or is it just my audacity exporting which adds a bit of silence after the track?
I’m a mac user too, but I still prefer Safari, as with glimms installed it can still do quite a few of the things firefox extensions can. I do keep a copy of firefox for any heavy-duty stuff like downloading all files on one page etc.
I hope they get safari on windows bug-free. Those windows users don’t know what they’re missing…
