iMovie cannot open “After Effects” projects. So the only category you can shop from Videohive is from “stock footage” and “motion graphics”. Also, keep in mind that it does not even recognize alpha channel, so you can only import and use the video part from the motion graphics files…
You could try downloading the trial version of After Effects and edit your template:
Don’t worry Okanak! It will be solved soon. Check this thread: http://videohive.net/forums/thread/payment-processing-for-september-15-2014/142356
Yes, it’s an increase at a geometric rate! Good news is that quality (especially in After Effects templates) is also in an exponential growth!
I don’t think they ever removed effects, they sometimes just replaced them while keeping the compatibility
Well, there are cases they removed effects, like the FreeForm plugin included with After Effects CS5 but never got to be included in CS6 or above… Fortunately that’s not the case for CC (cycore effects)
Also, Live Photoshop 3d never made it to CS6, making many CS5 projects non compatible with newer versions…
Broadcast uses should have a different license from those given for Youtube or blogs. That’s the most essential need for Videohive. Given the new licenses model in Audiojungle, it’s a nice opportunity to open this dialogue for Videohive too.
Audiojungle’s new licensing model suits for Videohive too. I hope it will soon extend and gets adapted to our marketplace!
Thanks for the heads up!
Could you please check the “Extended License Changes” link? It seems it does not open.
