Some of the directory sites on themeforest can be easily customized to work as product review sites. Maybe this could be an option for you.
I have purchased a few of the more recent ones and they are quite good, lots that can be done with each of them. I am in the process of customizing one from being a directory to a motor classifieds site.
They all have review system and woocomerce, so should be no problem making them a review site for any purpose.
Does anyone mind me asking what sort of time they put into their affiliate marketing each week?
As I said in my OP, ive just started but i am putting in about 3 to 5 hours a day. Its not a full time thing. I started doing it as I was between jobs (im a freelance website developer) and thought it would be a good constructive way to spend my free time.
So its looking like on average between 100 and 200 clickthroughs gets a deposit. Thats not too bad actually and gives me (and other reading this i hope) a good idea of how much work I need to put into my program to reach targets I set.
Thanks guys for all your input… its pretty valuable info to know.
I just started working on a website which has a large chunk of it for the Envato affiliate program.
I was just wondering what the average ratio of others might be for signups per click-through.
I thought maybe 1 signup per 50 to 100 click-throughs would be a good number to work off?
Just a quick FYI in the pricing tables page.
In FF 12 on Ubuntu when browser is shrunk to ‘mobile size’ the tables fall out the right and you need to scroll right to see them fully.
Its a very nice theme and with a few adjustments I can see it making quite a few sales.
Good luck with it!
