Haha Martijn wipes the competitors with his kickass hybrid stuff. darn
Very good case example that you don’t have to have cheerful ukulele track to make good sales. Way to go! We tip our nerdy hats ^^
Few pointers.
1. Don’t get too attached to one single track. Rejects happen.
2. Don’t take rejects personally.
3. If Audiojungle doesn’t want to sell your track, you can always upload file to other stock site. And if you are on stock music/sfx biz “don’t keep all eggs in same basket”
4. Shrug your shoulders and move on
You can make withdrawal request of ALL earnings anytime during current month so why people wait to last days and then miss it? We have done it multiple times
well bigger pile of cash to spend then

Big bolded +1 on this! People usually buy audio sametime when they buy the Videohive-project. And since gap in release of Videohive-project and it’s audio file is +7 days it really affect on sales. We get emails from clients who bought videohive-project asking for audio then we just say sorry but you have to wait at least week to buy it…
Only thing which bothers is synchronizing release of custom made audio with Videohive -project. Usually projects on Videohive are online within 7 days and audio is 12 days…
check your e-mail, you always get notification when your track is online or if it is soft/hard rejected.
Can’t go wrong with
Soundiron’s Emotional Piano and
8Dio’s 1928 Steinway Legacy

Allegro120 saidI’ve heard it many times but I really can’t see how does it make a difference. It’s like saying that if an AJ author puts a link to a VH author then the latter will prosper form that moment on… I have many works used by VH authors, I really can’t see any change in sales before and after.
But for me the most important is Videohive, if an author Videohive top includes a track yours … you can say that your life will change.
Well, we made a christmas logo for Christmas 2011… it sold aroundish 5 times… Then there was this superpopular Videohive-project using it Christmas 2012… it sold +200 times… so buyers just thought that let’s dig sooo deep pile of Christmas logos and buy this one… nope
point is that there needs to be like luck on item getting on videohive-project which has some luck to sell a lot which helps AJ-item to sell a lot and so on….
Usually our tracks in Videohive -items have 1 – 5 or 1 – 6 ratio meaning for every 5 Videohive-project our track sells once.
adjust the watermark enough and you get soft reject watermark being too low
