usually .dpx for color grading.
Its ok but you go up against a lot of more or less similar projects. For a relatively new author, I recommend going with somewhat unique items. From my small experience on VH my somewhat unique items get a lot of exposure, but mainstream files failed on buyers side. Its 1 of 50 will be sold over 100 times of mainstream items, I imagine.
@felt: I looked to open support ticket but didn’t find any way to request opinion about rejected item. I saw that is needed a link to file on VH to get trough to support. Or there is another way?
@Permaloop: I cant remember what brand was it so I cant find it on yt… sorry… just saw it once… some piano music overlay and can in some placholders (2,3) at same time creating puzzle from placholders at end.
@felt_tips: how is it possible to contact a reviewer? I believe that few lines from him would clarify my dilemma… yes, it was standard rejection letter… To specific audience, I wouldn’t say… I had a good sale numbers with beer and wine bootless, and its not a item that sales only few months, rather a few years of a steady numbers… buyer for this item are not a standard in general, rather people who will use only soda can animation for a quick pack shot.
@Permaloop: I would agree with you that I didnt saw few weeks ago energy can commercial on eurosport with a even slower and more simple animations… a big influence was that commercial…
what is a basic design principles? Please don’t use broad references from template rejection letter, simple say I don’t like it or you need to change typography, color, more elements or whatever… that could be helpful…
