This will complicate things IMO. There’s already a pagination on that page that is useful enough and more familiar to users. I think you’re overthinking it.

most important thing is to keep contact and never get in the state of feeling “client will pay soon”. there could be so many reasons for delays, better ask on regular basis whats going on.

Asked him twice but he just kept try to avoid the conversation

Just make it clear that you stop working on the day that payment is due, and then start working again when that payment is received. Makes there more of an incentive for the client to ensure that payment is made promptly. Currently, it seem that your satisfaction isn’t enough of an incentive for him.

Doesn’t need to be confrontational or anything, just make sure you’re clear that the ball is now in his court…

“Hey Mr. Client Dude… that’s another exciting, productive and happy month over, working on your wonderful project! If you can sort out my payment then that would be very much appreciated. As soon as it’s received, then I’ll get cracking on the next months work.”

Or something like that.
Currently, it seem that your satisfaction isn’t enough of an incentive for him.

Exactly what I feel now. It’s just very unmotivating to work with a company without good values and proper treatment with employees. Some leaders are just good making money but failed managing their people. I might find another job next month when i receive the payment.

BTW i cracked up with the last paragraph :))

Check when the transaction is issued. It could be banks delaying the transfer ;-)

I’m getting paid via PayPal. And in my opinion this is not a valid reason, sometimes it actually take up to 2 to 3 weeks before he send the payment

Then, if he doesn’t give you a clear explanation of what’s going on you should start considering to quit the jobs you’re doing for him, paying late in unrespecful to the worker’s dignity.

Exactly. It’s frustrating when he keeps rushing me to finish a work but always pay late. Thank you for helping, i will try to do what you said.

It’s stated in my contract that my salary should be sent every 1st of the month, but he’s always a week late, he doesn’t respect what’s written in the contract and I don’t think that’s professional. By the way the guy is from London and I am based in France, this is a remote job. To be honest i’m really tired of doing the tasks for him, it started very well but now getting worst. Any advice?

I highly recommend you read this: startupsthisishowdesignworks.com

This is the problem with the industry. The clients always overlook the design part. Thinking that it’s only a representation when they don’t go through the deeper part of the design at all. Another problem is that they offer a very low amount and when the project gets started they expect it to be done for a week, which is extremely ridiculous.

And still, there’s no official answer on the fundamental question raised in the thread – how is this soft disable issue going to be handled in future and are there going to be any improvements. Really hope this will get attention of the corresponding staff.

And I hope they won’t lock this thread just the get away with the issue specially now that the elite authors are majorly involved.
