That’s what I’m talking about. They disable themes without any adequate reason. I don’t understand why they can’t be friendly with their author. We are not dogs, send us email and we’ll fix everything, is it so hard to send one extra email?? It is rude to disable theme without any notifications…
I’d like to know if someone can advise a lawyer or a person who will help/consult with all that copyright stuff that we have?
Well yeah but it’s not in his portfolio at the moment, it’s hidden
Hi Everyone, and especially Envato team.
Some days ago one of our themes was Soft-Disabled because of customer complaints. Here is an email with the requirements that we received from Envato support:
“I bought this theme b/c it said it was compatible with the plugin WPML – but I installed the theme and then the plugin but the theme is not working correctly with the plugin. This is not an issue with the plugin its an issue with the themes compatibility with the plugin (which the author states in his description the theme should work with the plugin).” – Complaint received from one of your buyers. Please take the time to fix the issues mentioned above. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reply back to this ticket. Thanks!
As can be seen from the text above, exact issue was not specified. We asked to specify the problem but did not received an answer. After some time our customer has found the cause of the problem and we received an answer from him:
Eventually I uninstalled the plugin and then reinstalled it and then it started to work. Thank youBy this time customer received refund and replied to the support (ticket #133060) with request
A Buyer may make a claim for refund if a Product is one that cannot be previewed (such as WordPress themes, Adobe After Effect Projects, applications) and the Buyer asserts that the Product is not as described, or is broken or is corrupt. The deadline for a Buyer making any refund claim is 30 calendar days after purchase and this claim must be made to Support. We will verify the validity of the claim before a refund is approved.
As can be seen from the last sentence, Envato support representative should “verify the validity of the claim” what he did not, but simply hidden our product without any reasons.
Support doesn’t respond to our ticket either by email or on Twitter. Ticket number #134663.
We don’t really want to expose it to public debate, but we see no other way since support doesn’t respond while our product is removed from marketplace. We are very disappointed in the support services of this marketplace.
Just add your custom quicktags script by wp_enqueue_script() function with dependencies on quicktags script.
wp_enqueue_script('custom_quicktags', get_template_directory_uri() .'/functions/shortcodes/quicktags.js', array('quicktags'), '1.0);
I’ve got same problem with WPML users.
Problem was at nested trail slash after domain.tld
So when form was submitted, url was changed to domain.tld//wp-admin … and i’ve got redirected with &reauth=1 variable.
I’ve fixed this problem by set correct action=”[url]” attribute for form that posted variables.
I hope it can help you.
I’ve just got the exactly same email:
