Hi coolwk – What is the system built on? Hand coded HTML? Wordpress? Drupal?
FreshCreations saidAs an exclusive author you agree to precisely NOT do that.
My point was that there is no need to purchase anything from yourself caus you already got it on your computer right?
You can handle it in private with that particular client. No need to make a loop to TF (or the other marketplaces)
So the “im buying it for my client” remark seems weird to me. You could handle that in private or let them buy it them self..
I haven’t done this myself. But sometimes, a client should not be bothered to do so. Its like me saying, I am happy to set up your blog, but since you want this, you need to get familiar with this site, sign up, verify, download and give me the files…
I know everyone deals with a variety of clients and size, but sometimes, they should not even have to think about doing that.
I totally agree with the fact something should be done about abuse.
Indeed it is.
When you submit the item, there is an empty text field where you can put your description with a limited set of HTML tags.
When you go to submit you also fill in title, keywords, and other specs.
Thanks very much!
For me it was a long journey but is picking up very quickly.
I remember the getting the first sale, and it totally got me hooked. It reminds me of how when amazon.com started, every sale they got,.. a bell dinged.
I started on GraphicRiver with some web elements 3 (unique) to test the waters, then moved into some business cards. Created a few which is giving some steady sales.
From there I started to get my feet wet in CodeCanyon and this is where I want to be for a while. I really enjoy coding and think I can contribute a lot.
I created 3 items so far – I have a super secret and awesome Wordpress Plugin in the works almost ready for release.
I think the marketplace is so awesome, but comes with a lot of but kickking. You need to work VERY hard. Each item submitted, is hard work, in both creation, and prep, as you know.
Not only that, it’s a roller coaster. Some days, many sales, the next, only one. For me I want to increase my sales overall, but also get sales on the weekend. I know in general weekends are tough, but If I can get steady weekend sales, that would be awesome.
But each time I submit an item, I think to myself, could this be the one that changes me forever? I think thats the best part. The unknown, and working hard to be successful.
There are times when you want to give up. Don't. There are times when there will be rejection. But it makes you better. There are times when you want to scream. Do it.
Hope this gives you a quick snapshot of my journey so far
I just wanted to take a second to thank Envato.
They have created such an opportunity for so many people to potentially become very successful and make new connections with talented individuals on a global scale.
That being said -
Today I referred my 100th member to the Envato marketplace I hope to share this opportunity with many others!
Can’t wait for my new black paw soon also, I have been working hard at it for some time now
Wishing you all many sales and success!
